In honor of the solar eclipse later today, our activity was a coloring page. I remined students to be mindful of the fact that you can only view the eclipse with proper eyewear like the kind pictured on the coloring page!

Today’s mindfulness activity is aromatherapy. I gave each students a cotton ball with a few drops of essential oils such as lavender, sandalwood, peppermint, rose, and bergamot, chamomile, and frankincense. Mindfulness Monday: Be Your Own Valentine
Since it’s the week of Valentine’s Day, our Mindfulness Monday activity is to make yourself a Valentine’s Day heart. Using pink or red construction paper, cut out a heart and write a loving message to yourself. This is a great opportunity to celebrate self-love!
