Mindfulness Monday: Wind Chimes

Today we made wind chimes. They proved to be a challenging activity, given the amount of beads that fell on the floor and the difficulty we had tying the fishing line but the results were worth it:

What you will need:

Twigs, twine, fishing line, beads, bells, scissors, paper plates.

First, tie the twine around the twin to create a way to hang the wind chime. Then select about an arms length of fishing lines (3-6x). Tie the bell at the base of the fishing line and stack the beads up leaving 2-3- inches of line at the top so you can tie it to the twig. Repeat as many times as desired and then hang your wind chime in a window or outdoors to listen to it’s melody!
