I am happy to report that I finally got the chance to do the Pebble Activity with my department. I almost talked myself out of it a number of times throughout the day but when we met as a group, I asked them if I could practice it with them and they agreed! I feel very grateful to work with such a supportive group of teachers. They are always willing to try new ideas and give me their feedback. I feel like I overcame a huge obstacle by finally introducing the Pebble Activity to them. I want to continue to practice and eventually become comfortable enough to try it with a larger group. I’m starting to realize that the type of activity is not as important as the way it makes you feel. I want to find more activities that make me feel as centered as the Pebble Activity did for me and I want to hear from other about the activities that resonate with them the most.
